Who we are

A curator, not a supermarket.

CurryTym is a registered Indian company that curates premium packaged food from verified makers and presents it under NutriTym by CurryTym.

Most of us have stood in a shop reading a label, unsure whether to believe it. "Natural". "Pure". "Organic". Words are cheap, and it is hard to know who stands behind them. We close that gap. We do not carry everything. We carry what we have seen, checked and tasted ourselves.

Every listing starts with a visit to the maker. Random samples from our batches go to a lab, and we publish the reports. In between, we ask the questions you would ask if you could be there.

Our mission

To make trustworthy food easy to find, by choosing makers carefully, verifying every claim and telling each product's story honestly.

Our vision

An India where every family knows the maker behind their food, and where honest makers are rewarded for it.

NutriTym · nutritym.com

Where these values meet your kitchen.

NutriTym is how we bring verified food to your home. Our first story is A2 Gir cow ghee, hand-churned by Veerabhai's family in the Gir forest. The rest of the pantry follows, one maker at a time.

The standard

Four checks before anything is listed.

  1. Visit

We meet the maker, see the kitchen or farm and ask about the method.

  2. Vet

Identity, licences and labels are checked and kept on file.

  3. Test

Random samples from our batches go to a lab. We publish what was tested and the result.

  4. Explain

Each product gets its own story page: the maker, the method and the report.

Behind every pack

People, places and proof.

The family, the forest, the churn and the lab: the places behind our food.

What we believe

Five values we will not trade away.

  • Truth on the label

If we cannot prove a claim, we do not make it. "Organic" appears only beside a certificate.

  • Makers first

Behind every product is a family or a team. We name them, show them and pay them fairly.

  • Verified, not claimed

We visit, we sample, we keep the evidence. Reports are shown to you, not filed away.

  • Rooted in India

Regional foods, traditional breeds and age-old methods deserve to be kept alive and understood.

  • A human answers

When something goes wrong, a person replies, owns it and makes it right.

  • See how we score makers

Every maker is scored out of 100 before listing.

    The scorecard

How we choose

Every maker is scored out of 100 before they are listed.

The score is only the start. Any critical food-safety failure, false claim or expired licence is an automatic rejection, whatever the total. Approved makers are re-checked every quarter.

100

Seven checks add up to 100. Random batch samples then go to a lab, and we publish the reports.

Questions

What people ask us.

Short answers first. If yours is missing, write to us below.

What is CurryTym?

CurryTym Food Services Private Limited is a registered Indian company based in Pune. We curate pure Indian staples from verified makers and sell them under our consumer brand, NutriTym by CurryTym.

How does CurryTym choose its makers?

We visit every maker in person, score them out of 100 on identity and licences, label honesty, blind taste tests, shelf life, supply, fair economics and responsiveness, and send random samples from our batches to a lab. A critical food-safety failure, a false claim or an expired licence rejects a maker whatever the score.

Can I read the lab report for a product?

Yes, where one exists. We send random samples from our batches to a lab, not every batch. Each product page on NutriTym links the reports for that product, with what the lab tested, the batch ID and the lab details. If a batch has not been tested, we say so and never guess.

Is the food organic?

We say a product is organic only when its certificate number is printed beside the claim. Without a certificate, we describe the method and the maker instead.

What do you sell today?

A2 Gir cow ghee, made by the bilona method by Veerabhai's Maaldhari family in the Gir forest, is first. Khadi saakar, oils, masale and dry fruits follow one maker at a time. We sell shelf-stable food only.

How do I apply to be listed as a maker?

Use the Apply to be listed button in the contact section. We reply with the checklist of licences, labels and samples we need before a visit.
